Ever felt your heart pinning you down, so hard you can’t move, you can’t think, you can’t introspect.
All you fell is you being pulled to something; something that has been with you since long, since you came to your senses, or to a thing
having a special place in your heart. Or a new found love. But all you can do
is think of that thing.
Sometimes, this feeling is overshadowed by your attractions. Sometimes you feel it to be natural. You don’t bother to know the
cause of the drift, because you don’t know you are drifting. These times, you
don’t know that your heart has compelled you to do so, and pinned you down. You
can never get out of the trap, never even consider introspecting. Never ask a
question.
Do not confuse it with slavery, the heart has done it to protect you from any issues you can’t resolve, or sometimes just can’t
understand. You are a refugee. The heart has compelled you take this refuge to
distract you from the fact you can’t face. A dreadlock has been created. You
never know the outside world. You never know what to search for. You are
forbidden to do so.
But a point might come, when the refuge seems irrational. Not something you are fond of anymore. Or something that does not keep you away
from the real world. Your heart doesn’t know anymore. What world will blind you
now? What will keep you from peeping out, out of the cocoon? What will?
Some questions your heart cannot answer. Your heart has failed. To the world reviled you are.
And now is when out of captivity, you have to face the cruel world.
Now is the test. Your heart will try to pull you down again, down into pointless hallucinations.
Now you know what you are fighting. The world and your heart. And the victor
has to be YOU. How do you peruse your heart, to revile what troubles it. How do
you keep away and secure yourself from what the world hurls at you. How? How?
How?
Look deep into yourself. What do you study of yourself? What do you fear? What do you believe in?
Look to your conscience. Look to it. Learn fromAdd a Comment
